Why are the exhibitors of the "no calling" show applauding
The first China International Ceramic Products Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as "China Ceramics Exhibition") opened. In many ceramic exhibitions, China Ceramics Exhibition looks a little special.
From the perspective of exhibitors, it can be called the "strongest lineup" in the domestic ceramics industry, gathering many first-line ceramic enterprises in the industry. But judging from the effect of the exhibition, it can be said that it is neither prosperous nor prosperous. During the exhibition, the scene was very popular. There were exhibitors all day and there was no consultation on the exhibition process. For an exhibition that does not even have a large number of people, it will not be able to talk about a large order conversion rate. If the input-output ratio is concerned, this is bound to be a "loss" business for exhibitors.
But an interesting phenomenon is that the show's sponsors and exhibitors, that is, a group of industry leaders with very high business intelligence, said that they can already anticipate the effect of such exhibitions. It seems that they have no intention to reduce the input cost. Do the same.
At the China Ceramics Fair, exhibitors are generally dominated by large-volume booths. Some ceramic enterprises won more than 1,300 square meters of booths in a single breath, local exhibition halls, and ceramic enterprises spent millions on the LED screen display ... knowing that participating in the "loss of money" has also invested so much. Puzzling, He Xinming, the head of Dongpeng, the leading enterprise of exhibiting knowledge, frequently actively praised the China Ceramics Exhibition. As one of the sponsors, he said in front of many media that he would continue to hold the exhibition.
Why is it that the leading exhibitions that do not "crowd" can make the exhibitors who are leading enterprises so "praised"?
Is there a lack of exhibitions in the ceramic industry? No. In China, in recent years, ceramic production bases all over the country have set off a "hot show", and there are almost all ceramic exhibitions in China. In foreign countries, ceramic exhibitions are also held in Italy, Spain, and the United States. Among these exhibitions, domestic and international, long history and short history, exhibition positioning is subdivided, comprehensive, various, and numerous.
With more and more exhibitions, it is becoming more and more difficult to organize exhibitions. Affected by the sluggish export of many domestic industries and the slowdown of domestic sales growth. The popularity of many industry exhibitions has been damaged. Among them, the declining flow of people at the Canton Fair has attracted much attention. The once-enthusiastic "Exhibition Economy" has been increasingly questioned.
So, in the absence of exhibitions, and generally facing major challenges in organizing exhibitions, what is the significance of the emergence of China Ceramics Exhibition?
I have to mention another special ceramics exhibition, namely the well-known Italian Bologna Exhibition, which is praised by the industry as a high-end and international exhibition. Such an exhibition has been limited to China, the world's largest country in ceramic production, export and consumption.
Many domestic ceramics companies have been trying to participate in the Italian exhibition in Bologna, as a confirmation of their own innovative ability and comprehensive status. But at present, there are very few Chinese pottery companies that can really qualify for the Italian Bologna.
The reasons for this are complicated, but holding an exhibition of its own, which also has high-end and international elements, is obviously of special significance to the large but not strong ceramic industry in China. As Wu Yuefei, secretary general of the China Ceramic Industry Association, emphasized to the media, China Ceramics Exhibition is held to build a first-class exhibition platform and promote the transformation of the domestic ceramics industry from large to strong.
Therefore, it is not difficult to understand why a cutting-edge exhibition with a small overall volume and low popularity not only gathered many first-class ceramic enterprises, but also led many front-line ceramic enterprises to come out to support them.
In a sense, this group of industry bosses is playing a role model for leading enterprises. But this group of leading companies with a good vision must realize that the current exhibition of China Ceramics and the planned Bologna Oriental exhibition are still far away.
It is easy to organize an exhibition, but not easy to persist. In order for an exhibition to develop sustainably, it is necessary to return to respect for commercial laws, that is, to make the differences of China Ceramics Exhibition truly manifest, and achieve the double attraction of "people" and "finance". In this way, a lot of industry leaders who insist on holding the China Ceramics Exhibition can add more confidence to their insistence.
